Our History

From humble beginnings to national renown.

In 1987, with one desk and one telephone, Founder Bob Cegla, and partner Mike McDonald, decided to break away from a competitor, and join forces to start Liberty Display Group. Thanks to many months of 12-hour 6-day workweeks, what started as a small shop soon grew, with the team hitting a half-million in sales in their first calendar year.

Over the years as our reputation for quality products grew, and armed with our “do what it takes” attitude. Liberty Display Group became a vendor for some of the nation's largest retailers, and consumer product manufacturers.

We moved to our current facility in 1990, and have continued to expand in the same location.

Following the unfortunate passing of our founder Bob Cegla in 2017, Mike has re-committed our efforts to continue our legacy by investing in our process’, our equipment, and our people.

Today our investments in CAD design systems enable us to show our clients up-to-the-minute designs, variations, and other ideas “on screen” before going into production. It's this advantage that has enhanced our design capabilities, while also streamlining our customer communications, critical steps in the approval process, and our manufacturing.
